After serving her country for 20 years in the Army, in the communication field, with
tours in Germany, Kuwait and Iraq Kimberly Beasley decided it was time to retire and finally pursue her aspiration for business. After careful research and
planning, Curvitude Boutique opened its doors on the first Friday of June 2011, in the heart of downtown Augusta. It was a no brainer for Kimberly as she saw its potential for growth and uniqueness.

She is active in the local community, donating her time to several organizations such as Downtown Augusta Alliance (Board Director 2011 2012), Links, INC. She has had the amazing opportunity of debuting her line on NYFW 23, Miami Swim Week 23 and NYFW 24. Through tough times Curvitude has managed to maintain their position as the ‘The One to look at”!! The steadfastness of Curvitude has also allowed them to launch Thick Thighs Matters as an answer to our societies lack of diversity in fashion, With 1.1 million views on her Thick Thighs Matter reels, she realized this is not just another fashion line but a movement; with plans to launch THICCON-a plus size conference in 2025 she continues to move the culture forward to inclusivity never stepping back from a challenge Mrs. Beasley use all of her life lessons, experiences, successes and failures to propel her and Curvitude to the next level.
